Electrocardiogram
An ECG (electrocardiogram) records the electrical activity of your heart at rest. It provides information about your heart rate and rhythm, and shows if there is enlargement of the heart due to high blood pressure (hypertension) or evidence of a previous heart attack (myocardial infarction). An electrocardiogram records the electrical signals in your heart.

2D Echo
A type of echo called Doppler ultrasound shows how well blood flows through your heart’s chambers and valves. Echo can detect possible blood clots inside the heart, fluid buildup in the pericardium (the sac around the heart), and problems with the aorta. The echocardiography stress test is very reliable.

Angiography
Angiography is an imaging test that uses X-rays to view your body’s blood vessels. The X-rays provided by an angiography are called angiograms. This test is used to study narrow, blocked, enlarged, or malformed arteries or veins in many parts of your body, including your brain, heart, abdomen, and legs.

Angioplasty
You must have heard that the arteries get clogged. This happens because fatty substance known as plaque get attached to the walls of the artery. Such a condition is known as atherosclerosis. When these fat deposition take place inside the artery, obviously the artery narrows down and hence blood flow through the same is restricted.

Pacemakers
A pacemaker is a small electrical device, fitted in the chest or abdomen. It’s used to treat some abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias) that can cause your heart to either beat too slowly or miss beats. Some pacemakers can also help the chambers of your heart beat in time. Pacemakers use low-energy electrical pulses to control the rate and rhythm of your heartbeat.

Renal Angiography/Angioplasty
Angiography is an imaging test that uses X-rays to view your body’s blood vessels. The X-rays provided by an angiography are called angiograms. This test is used to study narrow, blocked, enlarged, or malformed arteries or veins in many parts of your body, including your brain, heart, abdomen, and legs. Angiography is an imaging test that uses X-rays to view your body’s blood vessels.

Pediatrics Procedure (CASD, PDA CLOSURE)
A transcatheter PDA closure is a minimally-invasive procedure to close the ductus arteriosus. Specialized heart doctors called pediatric cardiac interventionists use a procedure called cardiac catheterization to place a small device in the vessel, which closes the PDA. This procedure is also called “minimally-invasive PDA closure” or “PDA occlusion.”

Holter Monitor
A Holter monitor captures and displays the heart’s performance and allows a doctor to determine if your heart is working properly or if you might have a heart condition. Most often those detected by these tests include irregularities heartbeat and abnormal heart rhythm (arrhythmias).A Holter monitor is a small, battery-powered medical device that measures your heart’s activity, such as rate and rhythm.

24 Hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor
24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring is a method to measure blood pressure on a continuous basis. Your BP is measured even as you sleep. The ongoing data helps your doctor get a more accurate picture of your blood pressure numbers.

TMT (Treadmill Test )
An exercise stress test is used to determine how well your heart responds during times when it’s working its hardest. During the test, you’ll be asked to exercise typically on a treadmill while you’re hooked up to an electrocardiogram (EKG) machine. This allows your doctor to monitor your heart rate.

Sleep Study
Polysomnography, also called a sleep study, is a comprehensive test used to diagnose sleep disorders. Polysomnography records your brain waves, the oxygen level in your blood, heart rate and breathing, as well as eye and leg movements during the study.
